The New Xbox Experience is set to bring us an online marketplace we can view from any place with internet access. When NXE launches this November, you'll be able to view the entire Xbox LIVE Marketplace offerings on Xbox.com.
How does this help you, the gamer? Well, if you don't want to waste time searching to download that new Map pack when you get home, you can que the download on Xbox.com and once you get home and boot up your Xbox 360, you'll be prompted to download what you qued.
The online marketplace looks really good. I can't wait to check it out when it launches.
White Knight Chronicles will have online co-op, with tons of online quests, pretty much making the game a solo RPG and separate online RPG in one. Here is a new demonstration at the Level 5 conference at the Tokyo Game Show in Japan showing off online. Certainly looking good. Enjoy!
The new Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer at the Tokyo Game Show 2008 was once again shown behind closed doors. You'd think Square would never go public with this game. One scene in the trailer was rendered in real-time, however, where the Prince, who's name was revealed to be Noctis, meetes the blonde-haired heroie Stella.
He's called Noct. in the game, however, Stella calls him by his full name.
According to a new OFLC classification, publisher THQ has picked up Activision Blizzard's dropped 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.
We feared that 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand was lost since it was one of the many titles dropped in the Activision and Blizzard merger. So now you can rest assured.
First someone got LittleBigPlanet early, now another lucky bastard is getting Gears of War 2 early. We wish we were lucky bastards at times.
Yes, NeoGAF member dreammastah has somehow gotten Microsoft's Gears of War 2 early. He hasn't revealed how he's gotten it so early, but all we know is we want it... now.
Looks like someone got LittleBigPlanet two weeks early, and we're incredibly jealous. However, he won't reveal who he is so he "won't get hunted down". The unboxing is above, and there is a few install screens at the jump. We want it even more now. (more »)
It's not hard to admit, Sega's upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Yakuza 3 looks freakin' awesome. Maybe I'm just a sucker for games taking place in Japan, though, since I've never been there and am dying to. But I must say this new 20-minute video presentation tells us otherwise. The graphics are insane, for one. For two, just watch the video. Enjoy!
Here is some more fuel for the political-ness we're all feeling this year. If you're looking to guard the president's life, then Activision has announced the game for you. Secret Service is a first-person shooter taking place on Inauguration Day in Washington D.C. when an attack against the capitol occurs. That's where you come in, oh secret one.
“This game is a unique addition to the first person action genre, with a rich storyline set across famous locations and the need to use both lethal and non-lethal force to achieve your objectives,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Secret Service brings a nice refreshing spin to fans of run-and-gun games.”
Activision's got ex-Naughty Dogger, Daniel Arey working on level designs for the game. The game will launch at $39.99 for the Xbox 360, however no release date was given. Hit the jump for the presser. (more »)
Yeah, it's not Uncharted 2, that's what I thought for a quick second when I first read the title. KOEI is bringing their PC MMORPG, Uncharted Waters to the PlayStation 3 with enhanced visuals as well as a new interface.
The game on the PlayStation 3 may use the same servers as the PC version, but it is still not-fully known. And that's all we know for now.
Square Enix have released the achievements list for the upcoming Xbox 360 timed exclusive, The Last Remnant. There are 22 achievements totaling in 1,000 gamer points.
Most of the achievements are questions that tell you to do something, but doesn't say how many times they expect you to do that thing. You'll see what I mean when you view the achievements at the link.
